Why was PAMIA formed?
PAMIA was formed in 1990 as a bold response by patent and trade mark attorneys to the rapidly escalating cost of professional indemnity insurance. PAMIA’s founding members were concerned that their premiums were unduly influenced by the poor claims record of other professions and wished to be able to purchase their insurance at a fair price.
